Is this course suitable for me?
This course is suitable for riders who operate ATV’s on mild gradients with reasonable traction.
We only train 2-4 delegates at a time, with each student assigned to a quad bike, so you’re guaranteed a high level of attention from your instructor.
What will I learn?
The syllabus covers a full explanation and inspection of the vehicle, its specialist controls and what it can (and can’t) do.
The practical riding element of the course includes:
- Vehicle daily checks
- Understanding the controls
- Confirmation of appropriate PPE
- Starting the ATV
- Moving off
- Use of throttle
- Use of clutch (where appropriate)
- Use of transmission
- Use of brakes
- Emergency Stop
- Dismounting and securing the ATV
Where will the training happen?
All training will take place at Experience the Country or at your chosen location (subject to suitability).
Can I bring my own vehicle?
We can train you in one of our quad bikes, or you can bring your own (subject to suitability).
